Fifty years ago, the founder members, Shri Sanat Mehta, Late Smt. Aruna Mehta, Mr. Pushkar Pandya, Mr Navneet Dave and Ms. Manda Amin sowed the seeds of “Jeevan Sadhana” at a nondescript godown at Hujarat Paga in Vadodara on 18th February, 1956. Prior to this, they had established a Montessori School named ”Bal Sadhana” near Sultanpura.
Incidentally, these founder members were ardent followers of socialistic ideology. The inception of Jeevan Sadhana was the culmination of their dreams. They wished to serve and empower the weaker and downtrodden sections of the society. Today, this seed has sprouted and blossomed into a sprawling tree, spreading its shade, fragrance and fruits throughout the society. It upholds the ideology of its mentor and founder member Late Smt.
